Abstract:

Since battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (HFCVs) have advantages of zero-emissions and their respective applicable scenarios, the NEV charging station which can provide charging services for both of them will grow rapidly in near future. Its optimized operation is the core concern of the station operators and NEV users. This paper proposes an operation strategy based on QoS mechanism for optimizing operation of the NEV charging station and providing differentiated charging service for NEVs. The explicit model of the NEV charging station is introduced and the optimized operation model is established to maximize the profit and obtain the data of charging demand shedding. Then the QoS mechanism is utilized to coordinate the distribution of charging demand reduction in vehicles to achieve better charging satisfaction. The comparison of case study reveals that the Int-serv mechanism and the priority attribute function defined based on Diff-serv mechanism in this paper can well improve the charging satisfaction. © 2021 IEEE.
