Urban rail transit (URT) has become increasingly popular, but the traditional power supply system cannot accommodate emerging Renewable energy such as photovoltaic energy, and does not allow for free energy flow. Energy router (ER) enables perfect coordination and control of energy. This paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for ER suitable for rail transit, based on the power supply characteristics of urban rail transit, which stabilizes the voltage of the 1500V input DC bus and the 600V intermediate bus, and adjusts it based on the state of charge of the super capacitor. The energy consumption of train operation and the energy generated by braking are also considered. A new control strategy for Energy Router is proposed, which achieves coordinated control of photovoltaic, energy storage, AC load, metro operation, and braking. © 2023 IEEE.
