Abstract:

For a number (Formula presented.), let (Formula presented.) denote the family of graphs which have girth (Formula presented.) and have no odd hole with length greater than (Formula presented.). Wu et al. conjectured that every graph in (Formula presented.) is 3-colorable. Chudnovsky et al. and Wu et al., respectively, proved that every graph in (Formula presented.) and (Formula presented.) is 3-colorable. In this paper, we prove that every graph in (Formula presented.) is 3-colorable. © 2024 Wiley Periodicals LLC.
