Abstract:

This paper examines the large magnetic field limit for the ideal incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in a three-dimensional periodic domain, where the direction of the background magnetic field satisfies the Diophantine condition. Under distinct assumptions for the initial data, we rigorously justify the convergence of solutions to zero in varying topologies. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd
