Research insight into the change of aggregation structure of BOPP films and its influence on electrical properties under accelerated thermal aging Scopus

Abstract :

Biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film used in pulse film capacitors withstands high temperatures for a long time. This leads to frequent faults in pulse film capacitors, affecting the reliability of the pulse system. In this paper, the thermal aging tests of BOPP films at 100°C for 10–80 days are carried out in this paper, and the physicochemical and electrical properties of the aging materials are characterized. The results show that more deep and shallow traps to BOPP films are introduced during the thermal aging process. With the increase in aging time, the breakdown field strength gradually decreases, and the conductivity decreases first and then increases. Under the action of thermal aging for a long time, the recrystallization of materials and the destruction of molecular chains by thermal aging are the main reasons for the increase of traps and the decrease of breakdown field strength. The former is dominant in the early stage of aging, and the latter is dominant in the late stage of aging. Therefore, the conductivity shows the law of slow decrease first and then rapid increase. The relevant research provides a theoretical foundation for the process improvement and life prediction of BOPP films. © 2024 Wiley Periodicals LLC.

Abstract :

基于回复电压极化谱提取特征参量是目前广泛应用的变压器油纸绝缘状态评估方法,但极化谱易受工况干扰、人工失误等因素影响而出现特征数据异常的情况,严重降低评估准确性。针对上述问题,该文提出了一种基于局部离群因子(LOF)和改进K最近邻(IKNN)的回复电压数据清洗方法。首先,选取回复电压极化谱的回复电压极大值U_(rmax)、初始斜率S_r与主时间常数t_(cdom)作为老化特征参量,并基于LOF算法对非标准极化谱中的异常特征量数据进行识别与筛除。其次,利用模糊C均值(FCM)聚类算法减小噪声点对KNN算法的干扰,并通过加权欧氏距离标度突出各特征量间的关联性,进而构建出基于IKNN的数据填补模型架构以实现特征缺失数据的填补。最后,代入多组实测数据验证所提数据清洗方法的实效性。结果表明,数据清洗后的状态评估准确率相较于原有数据上升了50%左右,有效提高了变压器回复电压数据质量,为准确感知变压器运行状况奠定坚实的基础。

Abstract :

Electrical property parameters are crucial elements in the design of cable accessories, emphasizing the significance of precisely understanding their operational characteristics. This study investigates the variations in the electrical properties of silicone rubber (SR) insulation under mechanical stretching. The distribution characteristics of relative permittivity and AC breakdown strength are determined based on the mechanical stretching state. Furthermore, the electric field strength and safety margin are calculated to assess the operational capability of cable accessories. Comparatively, the mechanical stretching effects lead to increased electric field strength and breakdown strength, ultimately enhancing the safety margins of cable accessories, with a noticeable impact as the stretching degree increases. These findings suggest that the cable accessories exhibit a higher safety level than initially anticipated and that mechanical stretching should be thoroughly considered in their design. 1994-2012 IEEE.

Abstract :

Extracting feature parameters from the recovery voltage polarization spectrum is currently a widely adopted method for evaluating the status of transformer oil-paper insulation. However, the polarization spectrum is prone to anomalous feature data due to factors such as working condition interference and artificial errors, which seriously reduces the accuracy of the evaluation. In response to the above issues, this paper proposed a recovery voltage data cleaning method based on local outlier factor (LOF) and improved K-nearest neighbor (IKNN). Firstly, Maximum recovery voltage Urmax, the initial slope Sr and dominant time constant tcdom of the recovery voltage polarization spectrum were selected as aging feature parameters, and anomalous feature data in the non-standard polarization spectrum were identified and filtered out based on the LOF algorithm. Secondly, the Fuzzy C-means (FCM) clustering algorithm was used to reduce the interference of noise points on the KNN algorithm, and the correlations between various features were highlighted by weighted Euclidean distance scale. Then, a data filling model architecture based on IKNN was constructed to fill in missing feature data. Finally, multiple sets of measured data were incorporated to validate the effectiveness of the proposed data cleaning method. The results indicate that the accuracy of status evaluation after data cleaning has increased by about 50% compared to the original data, which effectively improves the quality of transformer recovery voltage data and lays a solid foundation for accurate perception of transformer operation status. © 2024 Editorial Office of EMI Journal. Abstract :

The increasing voltage level of HVDC transmission requires the higher electrical performance of silicone rubber used in DC cable accessories. In order to explore the excellent DC electrical performance of the composite silicone rubber material, this paper prepared the modified silicone rubber filled with different mass fraction of polydopamine modified boron nitride nanosheets, and compared and analyzed the DC electrical performance of the composite silicone rubber under different filling quantities. The results show that the space charge accumulation of silicone rubber can be effectively inhibited by the filling of boron nitride nanosheets. The DC breakdown field strength of the sample increases first and then decreases with the increase of the filling amount, and reaches the maximum value when the filling amount is 15%, which is 23.2% higher than that of pure silicone rubber. The DC conductivity decreases first and then increases, and reaches the minimum value when the filling amount is 15%. In addition, when the filling amount is 15%, the tensile strength of the sample is increased by 38.3% compared with that of pure silicone rubber, and the elongation at break of the sample is reduced only by 2.7%, basically maintaining the original elongation at break. The DC electrical and mechanical properties of boron nitride nanosheet composite silicone rubber modified with polydopamine are significantly improved compared with those without modification. The comprehensive analysis shows that the composite has better comprehensive properties when the filling amount is 15%. © 2024 Science Press. All rights reserved.

Abstract :

Accurate lifetime prediction of transformer oil-paper insulation is of great significance in ensuring the safe and stable operation of a power system. In this paper, the internal mechanism relationship between interfacial polarization and aging oil-paper insulation is analyzed based on a microscopic dielectric response mechanism. Based on a mixed polarization model, an equivalent circuit topology with an interfacial polarization branch is introduced on the basis of an extended Debye model, and the application of interfacial charge polarization characteristics in oil-paper insulation life prediction is explored. First, the universal relaxation polarization law behind the spectrum changes in the process of temperature rise is analyzed, and the recovery voltage polarization spectrum is reconstructed based on the mixed polarization model. Combined with the influence law of temperature on the principal time constant and model parameters, a calculation method for the activation energy of oil-paper insulation in a single temperature test is proposed. The frequency-temperature translation factor is constructed from the interface polarization capacitance. Secondly, the change rule of dielectric loss factor with the deepening of aging is analyzed, the internal relationship between loss peak shift and relaxation time of interfacial polarization is explored, and a new characteristic parameter in frequency domain, the interfacial polarization branch pole Ph2 is refined to characterize the polymerization degree content of oil-paper insulation. Finally, an oil-paper insulation life prediction model is constructed by combining interface polarization branch pole Ph2 , frequency-temperature translation factor and a loss accumulation dynamic equation, and the measured data of a transformer of different operating years are substituted into the model to verify its effectiveness. Abstract :

Electrical tree degradation is one of the main causes of insulation failure in high-frequency transformers. Electrical tree degradation is studied on pure epoxy resin (EP) and MgO/EP composites at frequencies ranging from 50 Hz to 130 kHz. The results show that the tree initiation voltage of EP decreases, while the growth rate and the expansion coefficient increase with frequency. Moreover, the bubble phenomenon at high frequencies in EP composites is discussed. Combined with trap distribution characteristics within the material, the intrinsic mechanism of epoxy composites to inhibit the growth of the electrical tree at different frequencies is discussed. It can be concluded that more deep traps and blocking effect are introduced by doping nano-MgO into EP bulks, which can improve the electrical tree resistance performance of EP composites in a wide frequency range.

Abstract :

准确预测变压器油纸绝缘寿命对于保障电力系统安全稳定运行具有重要意义。根据微观介电响应机制剖析界面极化与油纸绝缘老化的内在机理联系,并基于混合极化模型——一种在扩展德拜模型基础上引入界面极化支路的等效电路拓扑,探究界面电荷极化特性在油纸绝缘寿命预测中的应用。首先,分析温升过程中频谱特性变化背后蕴含的普适弛豫极化规律,基于混合极化模型重构回复电压极化谱。结合温度对主时间常数和模型参数的影响规律,提出一种单一温度测试下的油纸绝缘活化能计算方法,通过界面极化电容构建出频温平移因子。其次,剖析介质损耗因数随老化加深的变化规律,探究损耗峰偏移现象与界面极化弛豫时间的内在联系,凝练全新表征油纸绝缘聚合度含量的频域特征参量——界面极化支路极点Ph2。最后,联合界面极化支路极点Ph2、频温平移因子和损失累积动力学方程构建油纸绝缘寿命预测模型,并将不同运行年限变压器现场实测数据代入模型验证实效性,为油纸绝缘寿命预测提供了一种新思路。

日益提升的高压直流输电电压等级对直流电缆附件用硅橡胶的电气性能提出了更高的要求,为了探究具有优良直流电气性能的复合硅橡胶材料,文中制备了填充不同质量分数的聚多巴胺修饰氮化硼纳米片改性硅橡胶,对比分析了不同填充量下复合硅橡胶的直流电气性能。结果表明:填充氮化硼纳米片可以有效抑制硅橡胶的空间电荷积聚现象,试样的直流击穿场强随填充量的提高呈现先增大后减小的趋势,在填充量(质量分数,下同)为15%时达到最大值,相比纯硅橡胶提升23.2%,直流电导率先减小后增大,在填充量为15%时取得最小值;除此之外,当填充量为15%时,试样的拉伸强度较纯硅橡胶提升了38.3%,试样的断裂伸长率仅下降2.7%,基本保持了原有的断裂伸长率;经聚多巴胺修饰的氮化硼纳米片复合硅橡胶相比于未经表面修饰的氮化硼纳米片复合材料,其直流电气和力学性能都有显著提高。综合分析,填充量为15%时复合材料具有较好的综合性能。
