混凝土泵车臂架焊接有限元仿真分析

Abstract :

本文针对混凝土泵车臂架主焊缝焊接进行有限元分析,通过对比不同焊接顺序及焊接热输入仿真结果可知:焊接热输入和焊接顺序均对混凝土臂焊接变形均产生影响,其中焊接热输入对混凝土泵车臂架的变形影响更大,采用较小的热输入,同时采用焊接顺序为先焊接焊缝组 1 再焊接焊缝组2时的焊接工艺参数较优.

Abstract :

PurposeBecause of the advantages of high deposition efficiency and low manufacturing cost compared with other additive technologies, robotic wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) technology has been widely applied for fabricating medium- to large-scale metallic components. The additive manufacturing (AM) method is a relatively complex process, which involves the workpiece modeling, conversion of the model file, slicing, path planning and so on. Then the structure is formed by the accumulated weld bead. However, the poor forming accuracy of WAAM usually leads to severe dimensional deviation between the as-built and the predesigned structures. This paper aims to propose a visual sensing technology and deep learning-assisted WAAM method for fabricating metallic structure, to simplify the complex WAAM process and improve the forming accuracy.Design/methodology/approachInstead of slicing of the workpiece modeling and generating all the welding torch paths in advance of the fabricating process, this method is carried out by adding the feature point regression branch into the Yolov5 algorithm, to detect the feature point from the images of the as-built structure. The coordinates of the feature points of each deposition layer can be calculated automatically. Then the welding torch trajectory for the next deposition layer is generated based on the position of feature point.FindingsThe mean average precision score of modified YOLOv5 detector is 99.5%. Two types of overhanging structures have been fabricated by the proposed method. The center contour error between the actual and theoretical is 0.56 and 0.27 mm in width direction, and 0.43 and 0.23 mm in height direction, respectively.Originality/valueThe fabrication of circular overhanging structures without using the complicate slicing strategy, turning table or other extra support verified the possibility of the robotic WAAM system with deep learning technology.

Abstract :

The workpiece fabricated by wire and arc additive manufacturing is usually made up of hundreds of welds. If the slag is not cleaned up and adherent to the weld surface, it will be stuck in welds and becomes inclusions and other defects within the structures. This is not only the case when using flux cored wire as the consumable material, but also with solid wire. Different weld morphologies were studied by controlling the slag treatment after each layer deposition, in terms of non-destructive test (X-ray radiographic testing). Further investigation of the microstructures and composition of slag inclusions were developed by SEM and EDS analysis. Charpy V-notch impact test has been conducted on the specimens both in vertical and horizontal direction to the deposition direction and tested at 0 degrees C, -20 degrees C and -60 degrees C. The fracture surfaces of the specimen made without any slag treatment after deposition exhibit large number of welding defects, which is highly responsible for lowering the impact toughness. On the other hand, completely clear away of the slag by extensively inter-pass grinding gives rise to a fine grain structure and relative high impact toughness, however, a huge sacrifice of the production efficiency and high material waste is unavoidable.

Abstract :

基于冷金属过渡技术,研究了全封闭薄壁中空环形件的电弧增材制造工艺.首先在单层单道熔敷层圆弧形截面轮廓的基础上推导了单道多层熔敷层的叠加数学模型;其次建立了可根据薄壁结构尺寸获取合理工艺参数的等体积电弧增材模型,最后通过试验数据验证了模型的可靠性.基于该模型,建立了工艺参数(送丝速度、电弧移动速度)与成形件尺寸之间的关系,在优化的增材工艺下成形出了外观质量良好的薄壁中空环形工件,并将成形件扫描得到的实际轮廓与理论轮廓进行对比,验证了叠加模型和等体积增材模型的准确性以及工艺的可行性.

熔化极惰性气体保护焊中,高温电弧使焊丝部分蒸发成蒸汽,基于磁流体动力学模拟了金属蒸汽和外加纵向磁场下的MIG电弧.结果表明:金属蒸汽改变了电弧温度分布和温度梯度,温度峰值降幅达23.6%;外加纵向磁场强度每增加0.01 T,金属蒸汽在工件表面的覆盖半径减小约12.9%,外加磁场可控制低碳钢焊接烟尘中含量最多的铁蒸汽分布.

Abstract :

为研究熔化极气体保护焊接熔滴过渡行为中熔滴温度、尺寸、滴落速度的变化规律,用304不锈钢焊丝,氩气为保护气,建立考虑温度场的二维轴对称熔滴过渡数值模型.结果表明:熔滴脱落前温度最大值出现在熔化的焊丝金属端部,熔滴脱落后温度最大值出现在熔滴中心区;随脱落后时间增加,熔滴平均温度逐渐升高,温度分布更均匀;将缩颈脱落后的熔滴看作椭圆,随熔滴在电弧等离子体中运动,熔滴尺寸逐渐接近圆形,熔滴在长轴方向尺寸变化较大,在短轴方向变化较小;与熔滴在长、短轴方向上的尺寸变化相比,熔滴的等效半径变化更小.

Abstract :

Additive manufacturing has been proven to be a promising technology for fabricating high-performance dies, molds, and conformal cooling channels. As one of the manufacturing methods, wire and arc additive manufacturing displays unique advantages of low cost and high deposition rate that are better than other high energy beam-based ones. This paper presents a preliminary study of fabricating integrated cooling channels by CMT-based wire and arc additive manufacturing process. The deposition strategies for fabricating circular cross-sectional cooling channels both in conformal and straight-line patterns have been investigated. It included optimizing the welding torch angle, fabricating the enclosed semicircle structure and predicting the collision between the torch and constructed part. The cooling effect test was also conducted on both the conformal cooling channel and straight-line cooling channel. The results affirmed a higher cooling efficiency and better uniform cooling effect of the conformal cooling channel than straight-line cooling channel.

By establishing a three-dimensional (3D) numerical simulation of the Ti-6Al-4V Gas Metal Argon Welding (GMAW) molten pool, the molten pool's heat transfer and fluid flow behavior under a longitudinal magnetic field were investigated. The simulation results show that when the droplet enters the molten pool, the liquid metals on the molten pool's surface symmetrically flow towards both sides of the molten pool from different angles. With the increase of the magnetic field strengthens, the temperature gradually decreases, and the fluid flow velocity increases continuously. Besides, the magnetic field strength is correlated positively with the molten pool's size with a certain range of 0-0.03 T. However, when the magnetic field strengthens reach 0.04 T, the magnetic field is correlated negatively with the molten pool's size. Because the Marangoni and buoyancy begin to weaken, the molten pool's length change occurs before the width change. Simultaneously, a sizeable velocity region appears on the left side of the molten pool. Thus, the liquid metal gathers on the left side, resulting in the weld cross-section's asymmetry. It can conclude that only when the magnetic strengthen keeps in the range of 0-0.03 T, the longitudinal magnetic field can make the molten pool's surface profile smooth.
