Abstract&Keyword Cite Version(2)

Abstract :

The rapidly developing electric vehicles (EVs) calls for improvement in the charging system for the high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) batteries in EVs. In the conventional EV charger, wireless power transfer (WPT), onboard charger (OBC), and auxiliary power module (APM) are three separate structures. This article proposes an integrated charger for WPT, OBC, and APM by sharing power conversion stages with the advantages of cost effectiveness and high-power density. The transformer of OBC can be seen as two strongly coupled coils, and the secondary-side coil can be loosely coupled with the transmitting coil of the WPT system, serving as a receiving coil. A transformer can be employed on the receiving side to integrate the APM with WPT. In this way, the receiving coil, the compensation network, and the power electronics converter can be shared. The integrated structure can work in three modes. In the first mode (wireless charging mode) and the second mode (conductive charging mode), the utility delivers power to the HV and LV batteries simultaneously. In the third mode (HV-LV mode), the LV battery is charged by the HV battery through APM. An experimental prototype is implemented to validate the proposal.

Changes in soil respiration across tidal flat types before and after Spartina alterniflora eradication in Luoyuan Bay, China EI
期刊论文 | 2024 , 169 | Ecological Indicators
Abstract&Keyword Cite

Abstract :

Tidal flats not only effectively absorb and store large amounts of carbon but they also serve as habitats for numerous microorganisms, boasting rich biodiversity. This study compared the diurnal and monthly variations in soil respiration among different types of tidal flats and found temperature to be a crucial factor influencing soil respiration. Additionally, it examined soil respiration in different tidal flats before and after mangrove planting. The study revealed that replacing Spartina alterniflora with mangroves after its eradication could reduce approximately 5.96 × 108 g of CO2 emissions annually in Luoyuan Bay. Furthermore, both mangrove planting and S. alterniflora invasion increased the richness of soil microbial communities but decreased their diversity. Given that the mangroves in Luoyuan Bay are still in the seedling stage, with underdeveloped root systems and limited secretion of root exudates and organic matter, it is hypothesized that the microbial communities in the rhizosphere soil are relatively simple, with fewer species and lower abundance. Therefore, in the context of global climate change, studying soil respiration in tidal flats can enhance our understanding of their contribution to atmospheric carbon, aiding in the development of measures to control carbon emissions and mitigate global climate change. © 2024

Abstract&Keyword Cite

Abstract :

Diazinon is an organophosphorus pesticide widely used in agriculture and household pest control, and its use also poses several environmental and health hazards. In this study, we investigated the spatial and temporal distribution of diazinon in Baiyangdian, evaluated its potential ecological risk and toxicity to aquatic organisms based on RQ (Risk quotient) and TU (Toxic unit) analysis, and assessed the potential effects of diazinon accumulation on probiotics and pathogens based on statistical analysis of high-throughput sequencing data. The results showed that diazinon in Baiyangdian posed a low to moderate chronic risk to sediment-dwelling organisms and a low toxicity effect on aquatic invertebrates, which was mainly concentrated in October and human-intensive areas. Meanwhile, increases in sediment electrical conductivity (EC), amorphous iron oxides content and phenol oxidase activity favored diazinon accumulation in sediments, whereas the opposite was the case for sediment organic carbon, β-1,4-glucosidase, phosphatase, catalase and pH, suggesting that environmental indicators play a key role in the behavior and distribution of diazinon. In addition, diazinon in heavily contaminated areas seem to inhibit the rare probiotics (Bifidobacterium adolescentis and Serratia sp.), while promoted dominant pathogens (e.g., Burkholderia cenocepacia), which can lead to increased disease risk to humans and ecosystems, disruption of ecological balance and potential health problems. However, probiotic Streptomyces xiamenensis resist to diazinon would be a potential degrader for diazinon remove. In conclusion, this study unveiled the effects of diazinon pollution on wetland ecosystems, emphasizing ecological impacts and potential health concerns. In addition, the discovery of diazinon resistant probiotics provided new insights into wetland ecological restoration. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

Abstract :

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) refers to the assessment of the sustainability of business operations and their social impact from three dimensions, i.e., environmental, social and corporate governance. ESG has three crucial components, namely ESG disclosure, ESG assessment, and ESG investment. Since the sustainable development and ecological civilization gradually become a consensus among various stakeholders, ESG has also become a hot topic in practice and research, focusing on establishing relevant mechanics for ESG practices, building ESG investment infrastructure, consolidating ESG disclosure rules, establishing compatible assessment framework with international standards and seek right of speech. ESG focus on the environment and sustainable development, but the interdisciplinary coupling of ESG and eco⁃environmental sciences is clearly insufficient. This paper reviewed the development of ESG practices in China and divided them into three stages: the initial stage (2005—2009), the development stage (2010—2017), and the comprehensive deepening stage (2018 to current). Through the analysis of the relationship between the 10 mainstream ESG evaluation indicator systems at home and abroad with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, it is indicated that ESG′s attention to the ecological environment is highly consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals, indicating a close connection between ESG and eco⁃environmental sciences. Eco⁃environmental sciences research can provide a scientific foundation and technical support for ESG practice, and ESG also provides a focus for the intersection of eco⁃environmental sciences with other related disciplines. According to the CiteSpace analysis of ESG research literatures both at home and abroad, it is found that existing researches mainly focuses on listed companies and financial institutions, and the relevant researchers mainly come from fields such as finance, economy, society, management, and even business. In recent years, although more and more literature has been involved in the fields of environment, climate change, and sustainable development, the overall integration with eco⁃environmental sciences still needs to be developed and deepened. ESG, as a concrete practice of sustainable development at the enterprise level, will fundamentally reshape the economic, industrial, and energy development methods, bringing many investment and development opportunities worth attention. At the same time, a major opportunity and challenge is to establish the system of ESG research and practice based on eco⁃environmental sciences, and to promote the deep integration of eco⁃environmental sciences and ESG. On this basis, this paper provides an outlook on how to carry out relevant practices and research in the future, in order to provide reference for scholars in the field of eco⁃environmental sciences to carry out ESG research. © 2024 Science Press. Abstract :

Abstract :

Lanthanum-type metal-organic frameworks (La-MOFs) can be used to mitigate phosphate pollution in wastewater. Herein, La-MOFs was gained via the solvothermal method and its phosphate removal property was examined under various conditions, like variable initial phosphate concentration, solution pH, and co-existing ions. The material morphology, element composition, and crystal morphology of the La-MOFs was characterized using XRD, SEM, FTIR, and XPS. The phosphate removal mechanism was investigated by combining thermodynamic and kinetic analyses. The La-MOFs exhibited superior adsorption capability for surplus phosphate in water, and also had a high selectivity for phosphate in the complexed environment with some co-existing ions. Maximum adsorption was obtained at pH 4. The sorption procedure of La-MOFs aligned more with the Langmuir and pseudo-second order kinetic models, demonstrating monomolecular-layer-controlled chemisorption. And the maximum sorption capacity was 73.69 mg g-1. Electrostatic interactions and ligand exchange, which enabled the development of an La-O-P inner-sphere complexation, were identified as the primary mechanisms of phosphate removal. This research provides insights into the optimal conditions and mechanism of phosphate adsorption by La-MOFs.

Abstract :

In the present work,Ce-La-MOFs@F3O4 composites were prepared via hydrothermal method, and the adsorption performance of Ce-La-MOFs@Fe3O4 on F- in aqueous solution was investigated, and the adsorption conditions were optimized by response surface method. The experimental results show that the best adsorption effect of Ce-La-MOFs@Fe3 O4 is achieved at pH = 3. 6,experimental temperature of 40 ℃, and initial fluoride ion concentration of 17. 4 mg / L,and the F- removal efficiency could reach 94. 5%. The experimental datas of fluoride removal were more suitable to be described by Langmuir isotherm model, and the maximum adsorption capacity (qmax)is 147. 23 mg / g. The thermodynamic parameters ΔGo,ΔHo and ΔSo indicated that the adsorption reaction is anentropy-increasing process with spontaneous heat absorption, and kinetic study show that the adsorption of F- by Ce-La-MOFs@Fe3 O4 is well fitted with the pseudo second order model. The morphology and structure of the composites were characterized and analyzed, and the adsorption mechanisms were explored in conjunction with the adsorption thermodynamic and kinetic studies, which were mainly a combination of ion-exchange action and electrostatic adsorption. The results of co-existing ion experiments and regeneration experiments show that Ce-La-MOFs @ Fe3 O4 has ahigh selectivity for F- . And the regeneration performance of Ce-La-MOFs @ Fe3 O4 is so excellent that the recovery rate can reach 96%. After two cycles, the removal efficiency still reached 81. 74% of F- © 2024 Cailiao Daobaoshe/ Materials Review. All rights reserved.
