Abstract :

利用X射线多晶衍射仪、场发射扫描电镜、场发射透射电镜、X射线光电子能谱和荧光光谱仪对相近半径离子Hf~(4+)和Zr~(4+)共掺六方Na YF_4:Yb~(3+)/Tm~(3+)的结构、形貌和上转换发光性能进行研究.结果表明Hf~(4+)和Zr~(4+)离子共掺六方Na YF_4:Yb~(3+)/Tm~(3+)可有效调控晶场的不对称性,Hf~(4+)相对于Zr~(4+)是个更好的掺杂离子,它在调控晶场的同时还参与Tm~(3+)离子上转换发光的能量传递过程,明显提高了短波500 nm以下发射带的荧光强度;而Zr4+离子仅扮演晶场调控角色而未能参与稀土离子Tm~(3+)的上转换发光过程,Tm~(...

Abstract :

Fe-doped SrMoO4 (SrMo0.94Fe0.06O4-delta), synthesized by an EDTA-glycine complexing combustion process, can be easily reduced to SrMo0.94Fe0.06O3-delta (SMF) at 850 degrees C in pure H-2 atmosphere. The incorporation of Gd0.2Ce0.8O1.9 (GDC) into SrMo0.94Fe0.06O3-delta is supposed to enhance the ionic conductivity and catalytic activity of SMF. Phase composition and chemical compatibility of SMF-GDC composite in both air and H-2 atmosphere are confirmed by X-ray diffraction test. SMF-GDC composites in different mass ratios are systematically investigated in terms of electrical conductivity, electrochemical performance and power output with the fuel cells. With the addition of GDC, the ionic conductivity is able to be improved and the lowest interfacial polarization resistance is observed to be 0.647 Omega cm(2) for SMF7-GDC3 composite anode at 850 degrees C. With SMF7-GDC(3) as anode, the single cell is able to generate a maximum power density of 530 mW cm(-2) at 850 degrees C when fed with pure H-2 (30 mL min(-1)) and demonstrates a considerable stability with the anode exposed to H-2 and upon redox cycling. Abstract :

In this paper we report the infrared to visible upconversion(UC) luminescence properties of Hf4+ and Zr4+ codoped NaYF4: Yb3+/Tm3+. Samples were synthesised by hydrothermal method. Concentration of Tm3+ and Yb3+ ions were fixed to be 2 mol% and 5 mol% for all samples, respectively. NaY0.93-xYb0.05Tm0.02F4 was tridoped with 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 mol% Hf4+ or Zr4+ and corresponding samples were named as Hf0, Hf2, Hf4, Hf6, Hf8 and Zr0, Zr2, Zr4, Zr6, Zr8, respectively. In a typical procedure, trivalent nitrate stock solutions of 0.2 mol/L were prepared at first by dissolving the corresponding metal oxide in concentrated nitric acid or hydrofluoric acid at elevated temperatures. And then, a certain mole percentage of trivalent nitrate solutions were added into 20 mL 0.04 mmol EDTA aqueous solution. After vigorous stirring for 30 min, 25 mL ethanol solution containing 0.2 mmol NaF, 0.2 mmol NH4HF2 and corresponding stoichiometric amount Hf4+ or Zr4+ were dropwise added into the solution, and then pH value of solution was adjusted to 3.0 by addition 1 mol/L HF, and stirring continued for 30 min. Then the emulsion mixture was moved to PTFE-lined high pressure pot and incubated in oven at 180 degrees C for 12 h. The final products were collected, washed several times with water and ethanol alternately, and gathered by centrifugation, and then dried in oven at 60 degrees C. Crystal microstructure, morphology and UC luminescence properties of samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and upconversion photoluminescence spectra. Results revealed the bond distance of F-1-Y and F-2-Y become close with the rising of Hf4+ or Zr4+ codoped concentration, indicating crystal field asymmetry of rare earth ions were tuned effectively by Hf4+ or Zr4+ codoping. Electron hypersensitive transition was promoted, and the intensity of 802 nm emission was enhanced obviously. Hf4+ ion was a better dopant than Zr4+, for the extranuclear electronic structure of Hf4+ was the same with rare earth ions, and Hf4+ ion was involved in UC process as a migrator to improve Tm3+ upper state levels'population. UC luminescence of Hf4+ codoped sample were enhanced obviously, especially the shortwave emissions. The reported work establishes the understanding of Hf4+ as a migrator for Tm3+ ions upconversion luminescence, which may be helpful for design and synthesis of high-performance upconversion materials.

Abstract :

Open-tubular capillary electrochromatography (OT-CEC) with a new stationary phase, O-cynaoethyl chitosan, has been applied to the separation of four cephalosporins. Several experimental parameters such as the buffer type, pH and buffer concentration, mobile phase composition, and applied voltage were evaluated. Baseline resolution of the studied cephalosporins could be achieved within 14 min. The calibration curves of cefixime, cephalothin, cefuroxime, and cefoperazone were linear over the concentration range of 0.6-50, 0.8-50, 0.8-50, and 1.0-50 mu g/mL, respectively. The detection limits (S/N = 3) of four cephalosporins ranged from 0.2 to 0.4 mu g/mL and the recoveries of the milk samples were about 82.0-96.7% (RSD <= 3.8%).

Abstract :

In this manuscript, we present a simple route to enhance upconversion (UC) emission by producing two different coordination sites of trivalent cations in a matrix material and adjusting crystal field asymmetry by Hf4+ co-doping. A cubic phase, Y3.2Al0.32Yb0.4Er0.08F12, with these structural characteristics was synthesized successfully by introducing a small ion (Al3+) into YF3. X-ray diffraction (XRD), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray spectroscopy (XPS), and fluorescence spectrophotometry (FS) were employed for its crystalline structure and luminescent property analysis. As a result, the coordination environments of the rare-earth ions were varied more obviously than a hexagonal NaYF4 matrix with the same Hf4+ co-doping concentration, with vertical comparison, UC luminescent intensities of cubic Y3.2Al0.32Yb0.4Er0.08F12 were largely enhanced (similar to 32-80 times greater than that of different band emissions), while the maximum enhancement of hexagonal NaYF4 was by a factor of similar to 12. According to our experimental results, the mechanism has been demonstrated involving the crystalline structure, crystal field asymmetry, luminescence lifetime, hypersensitive transition, and so on. The study may be helpful for the design and fabrication of high-performance UC materials.

Abstract :

The Ca0.75Mg0.2Tb0.02Eu0.03(WO4)1-x(MoO4)x (x=0-1.0) series phosphors were synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. The crystal structure and photoluminescence properties of the phosphors were characterized. The results show that the Ca0.75Mg0.2Tb0.02Eu0.03(WO4)1-x(MoO4)x phosphors with different MoO42- doped amounts belong to tetragonal phase solid. The luminous intensity of the phosphors under excitation of 275 nm firstly increases and then decreases with the increase of MoO42- doped amount. When x=0.6, the luminous intensity of phosphor with MoO42- doping is 6 times greater than that without MoO42- doping. The surrounding environment of the rare earth ions and the symmetry of the local crystal field can be tuned by MoO42- doping, thus improving the transfer efficiency of the O2-→Eu3+ electromigration and increasing the energy transfer efficiency of between the matrix and Tb3+ ions and Eu3+ ions. ©, 2015, Chinese Ceramic Society. Abstract :

The cobalt-free layered perovskite oxides Sm1-xLaxBaFe2O5+delta (x = 0-0.5) (SLBFx, for short) have been systematically investigated to evaluate the feasibility of using them as cathodes for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFCs). SLBFx powders with an orthorhombic structure were synthesized by the EDTA-glycine combustion method and were observed to be compatible with LSGM and SDC electrolytes below 1250 degrees C. The electrical conductivities of the SLBFx samples significantly increased with the substitution of La for Sm, with the highest conductivity of 37.8 S cm(-1) obtained for the SLBF0.5 sample at 600 degrees C. Of the La-doped SmBaFe2O5+delta series samples, SLBF0.2 displayed the lowest thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) and the minimum electrode polarization resistance, with values of 16.51 x 10(-6) K-1 in the 50-800 degrees C range and 0.24 Omega cm(2) at 750 degrees C, respectively. The anodesupported single cell with SLBF0.2 as the cathode was able to generate a maximum power density of 558 mW cm(-2) at 800 degrees C in humidified H-2. All things considered, SLBFx materials are good candidates for cobalt-free cathodes in IT-SOFCs.

Abstract :

378 nm, 408 nm and 521 nm upconversion emissions of Er3+ ions were obviously enhanced by Ti4+ codoped with Yb3+/Er3+ in hexagonal NaYF4, and the corresponding upconversion luminescence lifetimes were also prolonged, especially for 378 nm and 408 nm emissions. X-ray powder diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and upconversion emission spectra were employed to explore the relationships of the structure and properties. From these characterizations we made a novel discovery that Na+ could be induced to occupy Y3+ sites for establishing valence balance of the system if Ti4+ ions were codoped with appropriate concentration. As a result the crystal field asymmetry of NaY0.92Yb0.05Er0.03F4 was enhanced and then its upconversion properties were improved because the hypersensitive electron transition of Yb3+/Er3+ ions was promoted greatly. At the same time, the crystal sizes of the codoped NaYF4 became smaller because the crystal growth was prevented by more negative charges gathering at the crystal surface. This study provides an exploration of the relationship among impurity doping, structural changes and upconversion performance, which may be useful for design and synthesis of high-performance upconversion codoping materials.
