Abstract :

Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to accurately measure and model the core losses of high and low frequency composite excitation, based on the detailed analysis of the limitations of the existing core losses measurement methods and core losses models, a core losses measurement system of high and low frequency composite excitation is built based on DC power method in this paper. The measurement accuracy is verified with the air-core inductor whose loss can be accurately measured. Finally, the core losses model of high and low frequency composite excitation is proposed based on the core losses model of PWM wave excitation under DC bias, and the experimental results show that the maximum relative error is −8.83%, which has high accuracy. ©2024 Chin.Soc.for Elec.Eng.

Abstract :

In this paper, the magnetic density distribution of three-phase common-mode inductors under different magnetic bias is obtained by finite element simulation of electromagnetic field, and the segmental reluctance model of the vertical core is established. The dynamic permeability distribution of three-phase common-mode choke is obtained by combining the characteristic curve of the material, so as to calculate the dynamic inductance under different magnetic bias. The establishment of the model provides design guidance for the optimization design of the common mode choke, reducing the volume and improving the noise suppression ability. The simulation results agree well with the experimental results, which shows that the proposed calculation method for the dynamic inductance of the common mode choke is effective. © 2024 IEEE.

Abstract :

针对高低频复合励磁磁元件磁心损耗难以精确测量和建模的问题,在详细分析现有磁心损耗测量方法和磁心损耗模型局限性的基础上,根据直流功率法测量原理搭建高低频复合励磁磁心损耗测量系统,利用损耗能精确测量的空心电感验证其测量精度.最后,基于直流偏置下脉宽调制(pulse width modulation,PWM)波励磁的磁心损耗模型,提出高低频复合励磁磁性元件的磁心损耗预测模型,并实验验证预测模型最大相对误差为-8.83%,具有较高的精度.

Abstract :

在无线电能传输(wireless power transfer,WPT)系统中,偏移是不可避免的,偏移会引起系统参数的变化从而影响系统的传输性能.基于S-S和P-S补偿拓扑,提出一种具有抗偏移特性的双耦合 SP-S 补偿的紧凑型 WPT 系统.该系统采用两个同轴布置、相互解耦的圆角方形线圈作为能量的发射线圈,其与单一方形接收线圈均有耦合,提升了 X方向和 Y 方向的抗偏移容忍度.通过谐振参数配置使接收线圈在偏移的过程中,一个线圈回路的输出增加,另一个线圈回路输出减少,从而使系统输出随接收线圈位置偏移波动平缓.提出方形解耦线圈结构参数的设计方法,并分析发射端并联补偿电容对输出抗偏移性能的影响.最后,搭建实验平台验证该方法的有效性与系统的抗偏移能力.

An accurate calculation method for inductor air gap length in high power DC-DC converters SCIE

Abstract :

High-power inductors are fundamental components in high-power DC-DC converters, with their performance being a crucial metric of converter efficiency. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of a novel calculation method for the air gap length in such inductors. Taking into account the effects of air gap diffusion and the winding magnetic field, an expression for the air gap diffusion radius is derived, focusing on a distributed air gap structure. Furthermore, models for calculating the air gap and winding reluctance are developed, grounded in electromagnetic field theory. An equivalent magnetic circuit model, formulated based on Kirchhoff's second law, facilitates the proposed method for air gap length calculation. This study also involves the development of 3D models for both discrete and decoupled integrated inductors. The comparison between simulation outcomes and calculated air gap lengths indicates a maximum error of less than 8%, with the minimum error being as low as - 0.79%. Compared with traditional methods, the calculation method proposed in this paper has significant advantages. Additionally, the discrepancy between calculated values and experimental measurements is found to be 1.11%. These results validate the accuracy and applicability of the theoretical analysis and calculation method, underscoring their significance in the design and optimization of high-power DC-DC converters.

本发明提出一种基于柔性金属箔材料的集成EMI滤波器结构及其设计方法,采用三绕柱结构的EE型磁芯,边柱利用常规绕组绕制形成共模绕组,中柱利用柔性金属箔绕制形成差模绕组同时集成Y电容;所述柔性金属箔绕组的基本单元由L、N、G三线组成,其中L线、GND线和N线之间通过介质层绝缘。在简化设计和降低成本的基础上,利用柔性材料的优势增大结构电容。同时,发挥柔性材料的灵活性,拓宽相同EMI滤波器集成结构的适用性,通过不同的接线形式使其能够满足LC型、τ型、π型、T型滤波器等不同的需求。

Abstract :

The DC magnetization characteristics of magnetic materials are difficult to be accurately measured in a wide range. In this paper, the DC excitation method is proposed to measure the intrinsic DC magnetization curve of magnetic materials, the measuring principle is analyzed in detail and the measuring platform is built, the on-off time of the switch is controlled reasonably through the communication of the host and lower computer, the voltage and current are sampled by high-precision sampling instrument and then process the data. Based on the measurement platform, the error sources are analyzed in detail and achieve a wide range of magnetic material DC magnetization curve measurement. Finally, the feasibility and accuracy of DC excitation method are verified by using air-core inductors whose permeability is close to vacuum permeability, the DC magnetization curves of ferrite and magnetic powder cores are measured based on the established measuring platform, the DC magnetization characteristics of the two magnetic materials are compared with the measured results of large signal AC method. © 2023 IEEE.

Abstract :

Plane transformers are vital components of high-frequency power electronic converters, and the calculation and optimal design of their parallel winding losses pose significant challenges in the design process. This article proposes a theoretical calculation method for winding losses based on impedance matrix and circuit equations, and it derives the significance and acquisition methods of impedance matrix parameters under high-frequency conditions. Building upon the proposed theoretical calculation method for winding losses, the article performs classification analysis of circuit equations to determine the constraints of the optimization problem. It establishes a mathematical model for optimizing winding losses in a single topology and provides a general solution method for designing the optimal structure of winding losses. Finally, experimental measurements are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the optimization method presented in this article. © 2023 IEEE.

Abstract :

For the first time, a direct electromagnetic force closed-loop control strategy for a contactor is proposed in this article. First, an electromagnetic force observer based on a neural network is designed according to a binary one-to-one mapping of the electromagnetic mechanism parameters to observe the real-time electromagnetic force. Then, the real-time spring reaction force is obtained by combining the observed electromagnetic force with the mechanical motion equation and the spring reaction equation. Finally, a constant force margin is added to the real-time reaction force as the reference curve, and the real-time observed electromagnetic force is used as the feedback; thus, direct electromagnetic force closed-loop control is realized through hysteresis regulation. This scheme can control the constant positive acceleration of the movable core in the dynamic process by taking only the constant force margin as the control target, which ensures the reliable action of the contactor and controls the total kinetic energy of the movable core to control the impact energy and inhibit the contact bounces. Therefore, the direct electromagnetic force closed loop can more accurately and directly realize the dynamic matching of the electromagnetic force and reaction force, which is of great significance to the optimization control of the contactor dynamic process.

Abstract :

The servo power supply is the key power supply equipment of aerospace electromechanical servo systems, and its volume, specific energy, and instantaneous output power directly determine the overall performance of the system. This paper proposes a two-stage topology that can satisfy the capacitive voltage with a wide input range based on the technical specification requirements of an isolated bi-directional DC-DC converter for aerospace applications. Firstly, the operation principle of the topology is analyzed, and the volume and weight of the converter can be reduced with magnetic integration technology. Moreover, the whole control scheme is introduced and the fast charge and discharge control strategy of the capacitor is analyzed in detail. Finally, a prototype with a peak output power of 7.6 kW was developed, the overall weight was 2.24 kg (with the case), and the volume was 286.4 146.4 63.5 mm3. The experimental results show that the rising and falling time of the output current is less than 1.5 ms, and the stabilized current precision is less than 10%. At the same time, the prototype can achieve 50 times continuous charge and discharge, which effectively meets the requirements of complex power conditions of the aerospace electromechanical servo system. © 2023 IEEE.
