Abstract :
Rare earth-doped upconversion nanomaterials have wide application prospects in photothermal sensing,biomedicine and so on,but it has poor thermal conductivity,low temperature measurement sensitivity and upconver⁃ sion luminescence(UCL)intensity. It’s an effective way to improve their UCL intensity and photothermal perfor⁃ mance by assembling composite films which contain single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT),noble metal and pho⁃ tonic crystals(PCs). In this work,NaGdF4∶Er3+/Yb3+/Al3+ nanocrystalls(UCNPs)were synthesized by the solvother⁃ mal method. The photothermal performance of upconversion layer(UC),SWCNT/UC,Ag/SWCNT/UC and PCs/Ag/ SWCNT/UC were compared,and the effects of different film layers on the photothermal performance of UCNPs were studied. The results indicate that PCs/Ag/SWCNT/UC has the best performance,and compared with the UC film,the enhancement factors of red and green emission intensities are 3. 48 and 4. 24 times,respectively. Its photothermal conversion efficiency is 33. 79%,which is 1. 49 times of UC’s. The absolute sensitivity(SA)of the optical tempera⁃ ture measurement is obtained as 3. 14×10−3 K−1 at 353 K and the relative sensitivity(SR)is obtained as 1. 87×10−2 K−1 at 273 K. Abstract :
为解决生成对抗网络训练过程中因损失简单加权导致的图像感知质量下降问题,提出损失自适应调整的生成对抗超分辨率网络(LA-GAN).首先,该方法设计通过计算角点分布的相关强度大小,区分规则纹理区域与不规则纹理区域.其次,基于不同区域,设计了区域自适应生成对抗学习框架.在该框架中,网络只在不规则纹理区域中进行对抗学习,提高感知质量.此外,基于下采样图像和图像块相似性的重组图像取代训练集中的高分辨率图像,实现平均绝对损失在不规则纹理区域弱约束网络,在规则纹理区域强约束网络,保证图像信号保真度.最后,通过实验证明经过优化的网络在信号保真度和感知质量方面皆有提升.

Abstract :
稀土掺杂的上转换纳米材料在光热传感、生物医学等领域有着广泛的应用前景,但其存在导热性差、测温灵敏度与上转换发光(UCL)强度低的问题,而添加单壁碳纳米管(SWCNT)、贵金属与光子晶体(PCs)是提高其UCL强度与光热性能的有效手段.本文使用溶剂热法合成了NaGdF4∶Er3+/Yb3+/Al3+纳米晶体(UCNPs),通过对比上转换层(UC)、SWCNT/UC、Ag/SWCNT/UC与PCs/Ag/SWCNT/UC的光热性能,研究不同膜层对UCNPs的光热性能影响.结果表明,PCs/Ag/SWCNT/UC具有优异的性能,其红绿光强度分别为UC的3.48倍与4.24倍,其光热转换效率达到33.79%,是UC的1.49倍;并且光学测温绝对灵敏度SA在353 K时达到3.14×10-3 K-1,相对灵敏度SR在273 K时达到1.87×10-2 K-1.本研究为提高光热传感器性能提供了一种有效的策略.

Abstract :
Antimony sulfide (Sb2S3) solar cells fabricated via hydrothermal deposition have attracted widespread attention. The annealing crystallization process plays a crucial role in achieving optimal crystallinity in hydrothermal Sb2S3 thin films. Nevertheless, incomplete crystallization and the loss of sulfur at high-temperature contribute to defect recombination, constraining device performance. Herein, a two-step rapid thermal processing (RTP) annealing strategy is proposed to improve the crystal quality and efficiency of Sb2S3 solar cells. The annealing process in Ar protection with atmospheric pressure can suppress S loss caused by saturated vapor pressure. The two-step RTP annealing with the 330°C low-temperature and 370°C high-temperature process ensures high crystallinity and vertical orientations of Sb2S3 thin films, accompanied by a reduction in defect concentration from 1.01 × 1012 to 5.97 × 1011 cm−3. The Sb2S3 solar cell achieves an efficiency of 8.20% with an enhanced open circuit voltage (VOC) of 784 mV. The build-in voltage (Vbi) of 1.17 V and irradiation-dependent ideal factor (n) of 1.48 demonstrate enhanced heterojunction quality and suppressed defect recombination in the devices. The presented two-step annealing strategy and physical mechanism study will open new prospects for high-performance Sb2S3 solar cells. © Science China Press 2024.

Helicity-dependent photocurrent (HDPC) and its modulation in topological insulator Bi2Te3 nanowires have been investigated. It is revealed that when the incident plane of a laser is perpendicular to the nanowire, the HDPC is an odd function of the incident angle, which is mainly contributed by the circular photogalvanic effect originating from the surface states of Bi2Te3 nanowire. When the incident plane of a laser is parallel to the nanowire, the HDPC is approximately an even function of the incident angle, which is due to the circular photon drag effect coming from the surface states. It is found that the HDPC can be effectively tuned by the back gate and the ionic liquid top gate. By analyzing the substrate dependence of the HDPC, we find that the HDPC of the Bi2Te3 nanowire on the Si substrate is an order of magnitude larger than that on SiO2, which may be due to the spin injection from the Si substrate to the Bi2Te3 nanowire. In addition, by applying different biases, the Stokes parameters of a polarized light can be extracted by arithmetic operation of the photocurrents measured in the Bi2Te3 nanowire. This work suggests that topological insulator Bi2Te3 nanowires may provide a good platform for opto-spintronic devices, especially in chirality and polarimtry detection. © 2024 American Chemical Society.

Beyond the high theoretical capacity, conversion-alloying metal chalcogenides (CAMCs) exhibit exceptional high-rate performance as Li-ion battery electrodes. However, the inherent origin of the high-rate performance remains elusive, especially given the lower intrinsic conductivity of CAMCs. Here, the correlation between phase evolution and charge transport dynamics in fully activated CAMCs is systematically investigated, elucidating a current-adaptive Li-ion storage mechanism to explain the anomalous high-rate performance. Briefly, the deconversion reaction manipulated by ion diffusion acts as a “regulator” to adaptively modulate the transition from metal (high electronic conductivity) and lithium chalcogenides (high ionic conductivity) to CAMCs, thus removing the charge transport bottleneck without affecting the formation of the metal feedstock required for the alloying reaction. On this basis, the high capacity can be maintained at high rates through a “fading-free” alloying reaction. This study offers a novel perspective for the design of high-rate electrode materials. © 2024 Wiley-VCH GmbH.

Chiral metasurfaces with high quality factors (Q-factors) are a promising platform for achieving chiral optical responses. However, the optical properties of most metasurfaces are fixed once they are fabricated. Here, we study the effect of phase-change material Ge2Sb2Te5 (GST) on the chiral optics of a planar chiral Si metasurface driven by bound states in the continuum (BICs), as the refractive index of the phase-change material changes before and after the phase change. The planar chiral silicon metasurface is capable of generating near-unity (0.99) circular dichroism and giant (0.996) linear dichroism in the infrared region. Notably, phase-change material GST is integrated into the Z-shaped Si metasurfaces. We actively tune the dissipative loss by causing the GST to undergo a phase transition, thereby modulating the optical chirality. In addition, we numerically simulate the effect of the thickness of the phase-change layer and the embedded position on the optical response. Compared with single-functional metasurfaces, this device exhibits better flexibility and more functionalities. It is demonstrated that the optical chirality of the metasurface can be well controlled using the phase-change material GST. © 2024 Optica Publishing Group. Orthogonal eigenmodes in multimode waveguides are an indispensable physical dimension for enhancing the capacity of optical communications, and efficient mode converters are therefore of vital functional significance. However, the conventional single-pair mode conversion in a single device is having difficulty meeting the ever-increasing demand for optical capacity. By contrast, the multi-pair mode converter can improve the multiplexing capacity and be further applied in spatial-mode-oriented passive signal switching and permutation cipher. Here, a scalable multi-mode converting model, combing the multimode interference and beam shaping by exploiting subwavelength metamaterials, is firstly reported to enable simultaneous multi-spatial-mode manipulation and break its polarization-dependency limit. Based on this model, five proof-of-concept converters are designed, realizing polarization-independent, and multi-mode conversions, or a combination of both within compact lengths (< 17.436 mm). For the first time, TE0/TM0-to-TE2/TM2, TE0/TE1/TE2-to-TE2/TE3/ TE4, TE0/TE1/TM0/TM1-to-TE2/TE3/TM2/TM3, and TE0/TE1-to-TE1/TE2 converters are reported and experimentally demonstrated, covering a double/triple/quadruple-mode manipulation in a single device. From measurements, these converters exhibit low insertion losses (0.72 to 1.65 dB) and intermodal crosstalks (-30.26 to -12.19 dB) at 1550 nm, and have a 56-nm/30-nm bandwidth of loss < 1.4 dB/1.9 dB and crosstalk < -13 dB/-10.5 dB, for the best/worst case. The proposed multi-mode converting model can manipulate multiple input modes in parallel and beak the polarization-dependency limit for multi-spatial-mode conversion, which holds great potential for spatial-mode-oriented nanophotonic systems. Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) efficiency has recently achieved significant advancements, surpassing the 26% threshold. Excessive PbI2, often used in high-efficiency PSCs, will also cause stability or defect problems. To address these challenges, we introduce anionic and cationic bifunctional additives to passivate PSCs synergistically. Phenylethylamine trifluoroacetate (PEATFA) is utilized as an additive to passivate the perovskite film. The PEA(+) cation facilitates the formation of two-dimensional perovskite while TFA(-) anion passivate the uncoordinated Pb2+ ions and iodine vacancies, enhancing perovskite crystal quality without excess PbI2. Furthermore, PEATFA modification optimizes the energy level matching between the perovskite and charge transfer layers, thereby enhancing charge transfer and extraction capabilities. Finally, the device achieves an impressive power conversion efficiency of 24.05% while exhibiting minimal hysteresis and good stability.

针对目前大部分光伏功率预测模型采用批量离线训练方式,且新建光伏电站训练数据较少的问题,本文提出一种基于增量学习的卷积神经网络(CNN)和长短期记忆(LSTM)网络结合的光伏功率预测模型。首先,采用CNN对气象数据进行特征提取,并通过LSTM网络进行功率预测,以此CNN-LSTM混合模型进行背景学习,训练出可用于增量学习的基准模型。其次,根据不同的时间跨度进行增量学习训练,实现模型的在线更新。针对增量学习中的灾难性遗忘问题,采用弹性权重整合(EWC)算法和在线弹性整合(Online_EWC)算法进行缓解。实验结果表明,相较于无约束的增量学习,采用EWC和Online_EWC方法的增量学习可以明显缓解灾难性遗忘问题,降低预测平均绝对误差(MAE)和均方根误差(RMSE);同时,在保证预测精度的前提下,增量学习的耗时大幅低于传统的批量学习。
