Abstract :

Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to accurately measure and model the core losses of high and low frequency composite excitation, based on the detailed analysis of the limitations of the existing core losses measurement methods and core losses models, a core losses measurement system of high and low frequency composite excitation is built based on DC power method in this paper. The measurement accuracy is verified with the air-core inductor whose loss can be accurately measured. Finally, the core losses model of high and low frequency composite excitation is proposed based on the core losses model of PWM wave excitation under DC bias, and the experimental results show that the maximum relative error is −8.83%, which has high accuracy. ©2024 Chin.Soc.for Elec.Eng.

Abstract :

针对高低频复合励磁磁元件磁心损耗难以精确测量和建模的问题,在详细分析现有磁心损耗测量方法和磁心损耗模型局限性的基础上,根据直流功率法测量原理搭建高低频复合励磁磁心损耗测量系统,利用损耗能精确测量的空心电感验证其测量精度.最后,基于直流偏置下脉宽调制(pulse width modulation,PWM)波励磁的磁心损耗模型,提出高低频复合励磁磁性元件的磁心损耗预测模型,并实验验证预测模型最大相对误差为-8.83%,具有较高的精度.

Abstract :

The DC magnetization characteristics of magnetic materials are difficult to be accurately measured in a wide range. In this paper, the DC excitation method is proposed to measure the intrinsic DC magnetization curve of magnetic materials, the measuring principle is analyzed in detail and the measuring platform is built, the on-off time of the switch is controlled reasonably through the communication of the host and lower computer, the voltage and current are sampled by high-precision sampling instrument and then process the data. Based on the measurement platform, the error sources are analyzed in detail and achieve a wide range of magnetic material DC magnetization curve measurement. Finally, the feasibility and accuracy of DC excitation method are verified by using air-core inductors whose permeability is close to vacuum permeability, the DC magnetization curves of ferrite and magnetic powder cores are measured based on the established measuring platform, the DC magnetization characteristics of the two magnetic materials are compared with the measured results of large signal AC method. © 2023 IEEE.

Abstract :

Magnetic core loss is one of the important parameters of power magnetic components. In view of the problem that AC power method has a large error in measuring the core loss at high frequency and low loss angle, as well as the disadvantages of calorimetric method, such as high time cost and tedious measurement process, DC power method is proposed. The DC method obtains magnetic core loss by measuring DC input power of inverter circuit, greatly weakening the impact of impedance angle of the measured magnetic component on measurement accuracy, and can accurately measure magnetic core loss under PWM wave excitation. This article conducts research on the following aspects: Firstly, based on the DC power method, this article measured the losses of magnetic cores under asymmetric PWM wave and symmetric PWM wave excitation, established a prediction model for magnetic core losses, and verified the accuracy of the model. Verify the existence of relaxation loss when measuring the magnetic core loss under symmetric PWM wave excitation, and establish a relaxation loss prediction model. © 2023 IEEE.

Abstract :

准确评估磁元件损耗对高频功率变换器效率和热设计至关重要。交流功率法广泛用于低频领域的电气电子设备功率和元器件损耗的测量,该方法对电压和电流之间的相位差比较敏感,导致交流功率法在高频领域难以准确测量被测件的损耗。本文提出一种采用无感电阻进行相位差误差补偿的测量方法,克服了相位差的测量误差对高频磁元件损耗测量的影响。分析了测量方法的工作原理,通过求解无感电阻和磁元件损耗的测量公式以消除相位差导致的测量误差,得到新的磁元件损耗测量公式。进一步分析了新测量方法的影响因素,以降低其对测量结果的影响。最后,建立了一个测量平台,在1.2 MHz频率范围内正弦波激励工况下对两种磁元件进行损耗测量,并与阻抗测量法和量热法进行了对比。实验结果验证了提出的方法能够准确有效地测量高频磁元件的损耗。

Abstract :

磁心损耗的精确测量具有重要工程应用价值和理论意义。本文主要基于直流功率法原理测量磁性元件磁心损耗。空心电感损耗仅是可精确测量的具有线性性质的绕组损耗,因此本文利用空心电感作为定标电感校验测量装置损耗,同时利用空心电感验证建立的测量装置的测量精度,结果表明测量装置测量空心电感损耗的最大相对误差为13.9%,其可精确测量磁性元件磁心损耗。

Abstract :

Nowadays, it is difficult to accurately measure the core losses of magnetic components of power converter under high-frequency excitation. Based on the DC power method, this paper proposes the measuring system of core losses at l0MHz using a new wide bandgap semiconductor device GaN. The switching process of the DC/AC inverter circuit is analyzed in detail, and the loss model of the DC/AC inverter circuit is established. The measuring accuracy is verified with the air-core inductor, whose loss can be accurately measured, and the maximum relative error is 9.1%. Finally, the core losses of magnetic components under l0MHz excitation are measured based on the built measurement system. © 2022 IEEE.

Abstract :

Magnetic components are important parts of power converters. The accurate core loss measurement is very important for the optimization of magnetic components. To improve the measurement accuracy of the traditional dual-winding AC power method for core loss measurement with high-frequency excitation, the measurement principle and error source of the inductor voltage compensation AC power method are analyzed in detail. Based on the error problem that the core loss of magnetic components with high impedance angle is measured with the inductor voltage compensated AC power method under incomplete compensation, the inductor voltage partially compensated AC power method is proposed to accurately measure the core loss under arbitrary waveform excitation in this article. Finally, the measurement platform is established under the condition of incomplete compensation. The maximum relative error of this method for core loss measurement of the powder core with 50 kHz sine wave excitation is 13.54%, and the maximum relative error of core loss measurement of the powder core with 50 kHz rectangular wave excitation is 9.8%. Experimental results show that the core loss of magnetic powder core under sine wave and square wave excitation can be accurately measured by the proposed method. © 2022, Science Press. Abstract :

在磁芯损耗测量中量热法通常用于验证电气测量方法的精度。在比对量热法的基础上,提出了具有损耗预测和温度跟踪功能的量热测量法,并详细分析了测量原理、误差来源和影响因素,采用隔热容器、搅拌器、温度采集卡、功率采集卡和继电器开发了小损耗元件自动测量装置,同时通过LabVIEW对温度、电压和电流参数进行处理,构建人机互动界面,最后通过测量高精度电阻的直流功率验证了测量装置的误差在3%以内。实验表明,开发的测量装置可以根据损耗的大小自动调整跟踪过程,提高了测量效率和准确度。
