Abstract：
In this paper, the concepts of primitive matrices over a distributive lattice L are introduced, and some algebraic properties of primitive circulant matrices over the lattice L are obtained. Also, some characterizations of the set of all primitive circulant matrices over the lattice L of order n as a semigroup are given.
