Abstract:

Firstly, the synergetic theory and the basic method of synergetic pattern recognition was studied. Secondly, some problems exiting in the automatic recognition methods based on the synergetic method of traffic states was discussed and a resolution of the intelligent traffic control system was presented. Lastly, a simulation example of intelligent traffic control on two crossings was given. The simulation results showed that the application of the synergetic method on the field of traffic state recognition is successful, in which the length of the car line around the crossing is reduced in the intelligent traffic control system.
