As　an　example　of　Xiabaishi　Bridge　in　the　line　of　national　highway,　a　comprehensive　structural　health　monitoring　system　for　a　long　span　continuous　rigid-frame　bridge　was　briefly　introduced.　The　design　idea,　composition,　objective,　monitoring　point　layout　considerations,　monitoring　instrument　selection,　data　acquisition　and　transmission　system　were　presented.　Part　of　the　condition　monitoring　results　were　also　introduced.　The　obvious　characteristic　of　the　system　is　that　the　static　and　dynamic　motoring　were　syncretized　together.
