Abstract:

The defect of digital PIP controller is that by which time-delay system can not be effectively controlled, also the uncertain interference can not be effectively eliminated. In this paper, a class of digital PIP controller based on Smith predictive control is presented, the resulted digital PIP controller is realized by single neuron. Simulation research of this resulted neuron digital PIP controller used in paper-making machine is done with MATLAB soft. The simulation results show that with this resulted neuron digital PIP controller the large time-delay system can be effectively controlled, the characteristics of robustness and anti-interference also the dynamic characteristics can be effectively improved.
