Abstract:

The transformerless PV inverter system would cause higher ground leakage current between PV inverter and the ground. The conventional solution to reduce the leakage current is based on the topology and complexity control methods. This paper analyzes the reason and some solutions to control of ground leakage current at first. An innovative method is proposed based on the coupling inductor to reduce ground leakage current. It increased a coupling coil in the inverter choke, and constituted a compensated-loop with capacitor, to decrease ground leakage current. The result shows this method solves the ground leakage current effectively in transformerless PV inverter system based on the theoretical analysis, circuit simulation and experimental verification. © 2020, Harbin University of Science and Technology Publication.
