Abstract:
Voltage flicker will interfere with the power quality in distribution system resulting from load fluctuation. The flicker intensity detected on PCC is the total effect of all loads putting in PCC, that can't help to evaluate the interference of single load. The flicker interference injecting into system is relevant to the operating character of load which puts up as the correlation of voltage and current. So, it can't locate the flicker source just according to the voltage analysis. An evaluation method is proposed in this paper, which tracks the load impedance in lower frequency and then computes the flicker intensity of PCC resulting from the only load. Its feasibility is verified with a simulation case.
