Abstract:
Silicon fertilizer was produced by coal-cinders yielded from the catalysis and gasification of eight kinds of anthracites in Fujian Province, with additives together calcinations during de-alkali. The results indicate that the de-alkali rate could be raised up to 100% under adding 5% kaoline in the alkali coal-cinders and calcinations temperature 870°C for 30-40 minutes. Simultaneously, the available SiO2 content in the de-alkali coal-cinders give in excess of 20% as the standard of silicon fertilizer. The calcined cinders were analyzed by XRD and SEM. It was clearly seen that under an appropriate calcinations temperature, the activated SiO2 and Al2O3 contained in the additives and coal-cinders will reacted to Na2CO3 in fusing and form a new neutral matter as the nepheline and a variety of amorphous compounds of silicate, and the harmless treatment and resource of silicon fertilizer for the alkali coal-cinders are realized.
