Abstract:

Nonlinear finite element analysis method is applied for the analyses of load-deformation relations curves of curved concrete-filled circular hollow section (CHS) steel struts. In order to validate calculating results by numerical method, comparisons between calculating results and test results (Ghasemian and Schmidt, 1999) are made. Reasonable agreement is achieved.
