Abstract：

The　optical　limiting　properties　of　metallophthalocyanines　doped　silica　xerogel　composites　were　studied.　The　optical　limiting　effect　of　the　composites　was　measured　at　532　nm　with　8　ns　pulses.　The　results　showed　that　the　ArOPcPd　doped　sample　possessed　the　strongest　optical　limiting　effect.
