Abstract:
The regional features of Hui'an fisherwomen's dress in the southern Fujian Province is a trademark for national cultural exchange. It is the treasure of Han nationality's dress culture. Most of the traditional Han clothing is mainly based on the plane cross-shaped structure to generate patterns. Hui'an women's clothing preserves the classical structure and the innovation is developed from addressing actual needs. Hui'an fisherwomen's clothing can be divided into two forms from Dazuo village and Xiaozuo town. This paper takes Dazuo fisherwomen's 'Thrifty shirt' as the main research object, and presents the features of 'Thrifty shirt' by analyzing the structural characteristics of the body, the structural characteristics of the parts and the sewing technology. Starting from the clothing itself, the paper records the production process, and provides detailed and real research data for the protection and inheritance of fisherwomen's clothing. © (2019) Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposium Proceedings 2019 - 12th Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposium, TBIS 2019.
