Abstract:
As the relationship between client and designer is always a dynamic one that changes over the course of the design process, this paper concentrates on how to improve traditional communications in order to achieve better design outcomes. New communicating modes are to be created when new role of designers in design process has to be reconsidered that meets clients' expectations and satisfactions. Nowadays, Internet has been broadly employed in our daily lives; inevitably, communication via Internet can be regarded as one of the useful tools to replace traditional communication ways used in design process. As a result, by examine current difficulties relating to communicating modes in the design process, this paper proposes a conceptual frame work of web-based service based on human-centered design trying to enhance communication between clients and designers particularly for interior design. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group.
