Abstract:
Natural Kaolinite was used as a starting material for the solid phase synthesis of sodium fast ion conductors of Na1+2xAlxTi2-xSixP 3-xO12 system. Based on an original stfutural unit of NaTi2(PO4)3. Meantimes, composition, structure and electrical behaviour of Na1+2xAlxTi2-xSixP 3-xO12 system were investigated. Most of the reactions finished at 1073∼1223K. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that a NASICON phase with C2/c space group can be formed in the composition range of x=0.1∼0.6. The volume of unit cell in the composition range increased with increasing x. The initial composition with x=0.4 possesses maximum ionic conductivity which reaches up to 3.00×10-3S/cm at 673K and its activation energy is 36.02 kJ/mol.
