Abstract:
29Cr super duplex stainless steel was prepared with IF furnace. The effects of solution temperature on microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion resisting property of 29Cr cast super duplex stainless steel were studied by means of optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry ( EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical polarization curve. The results indicate that the partition coefficient of Cr(K Cr) in two phases plays a leading role on the properties when the solution temperature is 1050-1150°C . With increasing solution temperature, K Cr increases first and then decreases. The lower the K Cr, the higher the strength and the worse the corrosion resistance. The maximum strength and plasticity respectively are 825 MPa and 35% at solution treatment temperature 1100°C , while the corrosion current density is 0.603 μA·cm -2 and corrosion resistance is the worst.
