Abstract:

A high contrast of ∼67 times, exceeding those of all known photoswitching bulk quadratic nonlinear-optical materials, has been realized in a photochromic semiconductor, by the strategy of increasing electron-transfer efficiency and self-absorption. © 2021 American Chemical Society.
