Abstract:

Electromagnetic (space) kurtosis for time-reversal source reconstruction has been reported where space kurtosis can first identify the excitation time instants then localize the sources. This paper proposes the electromagnetic time kurtosis, which can directly reconstruct sources locations regardless of excitation time. We further extend it with band-limited signals for practical applications. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed time kurtosis. © 2022 IEEE.
