Abstract:
Heart rate detection is of utmost importance in the field of medicine as it provides vital insights into a patient's cardiac function and overall health. This paper presents a novel approach to heart rate detection by leveraging pulse-coherent radar (PCR) technology to capture echo signals. Furthermore, it incorporates advanced techniques such as wavelet packet decomposition and the Savitzky-Golay filter for effective reconstruction and smoothing of heartbeat signals. Through comprehensive experiments, this method has shown superior performance compared to traditional approaches like EEMD and CEEMDAN, exhibiting higher levels of accuracy and robustness. © 2023 IEEE.
