Abstract:
The membrane has lightweight and high strength, so it is a good dome material. However, the interference of external loads on membrane domes in civil buildings is relatively complex, and the analysis of deformation and stress during the service process of civil building domes is lacking. In this paper, finite element analysis software is used to carry out dynamic and static analysis of a common civil building membrane dome and to evaluate and analyze the wrinkling factors. The results show that compared with the materials used to change the dome structure, the differential tension exerted on the dome structure can exert a certain control effect, and the obtained results can provide a reference for disaster prevention and mitigation of civil building domes. © 2025 Ernst & Sohn GmbH.
