Abstract:

The development history, characteristics and applications of high entropy alloys, high entropy oxides and high entropy MXenes are reviewed. High entropy materials as cathode, anode and electrolyte to improve batteries capacity, cycle life and cycle stability are introduced systematically. The latest progresses of employing machine learning in high entropy battery materialsare highlighted and discussed in details. © The Author(s) 2025.
