Abstract:

With the progress of carbon peak and carbon neutralization, the new power system will change in energy structure, load characteristics, power grid form, technical foundation, and operational characteristics, which will bring new requirements and changes to the power grid statistical work. To adapt to the new situation of the power system, a new type of power system index system with scientific system and complete index is constructed, taking into account the principles of feasibility, universality, systematicity and scientificity. Corresponding to the five major characteristics of the new power system, the index system focuses on five dimensions: clean and low-carbon, safe and reliable, flexible and intelligent, open and interactive, economic and efficient, which includes a total of 19 second-level indexes and 77 third-level indexes. The index system proposed covers all aspects of production, operation, and development decision-making of the new power system, accurately reflecting the construction of provincial-level demonstration zones for the new power system, providing support for the production, operation, and development decision-making of the new power system, and providing certain reference value for guiding the efficient and scientific construction of the new power system. © 2025 Editorial Office of Journal of Electrical Engineering.
