Abstract:

Chitosan was selected as organic matrix to synthetize nano hydroxyapatite in situ. By the high voltage static micro capsule forming device, a kind of novel composite microsphere-chitosan/hydroxyapatite loading ircaiin was prepared, sustaining release drug for bone tissue recovery. Results indicate that the morphology of composite microspheres are round, and the particle size is about 200 mu m. Nano hydroxyapatite is formed in situ and composite microspheres provide a good coating for ircaiin. In conclusion, the composite microspheres can promote osteoblast proliferation.
