Abstract:
Using tungstate (Na2WO4 center dot 2H(2)O) and mesoporous silica dioxide (SBA-15) as tungsten raw material and hard template respectively, tungsten oxide nanoplates with nano-pits were successfully synthesized in the acidic condition by a modified dipping-reduction method. The composition, morphology and optical properties of as-prepared products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), scanning electron microscope (SEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and ultraviolet-visible transmission spectrum (UV-Vis). Results showed that the products were single crystal tungsten oxide nanoplates with nano-pits which had higher transmission rate in the near UV-visible region. Furthermore, the WO3 thin films changed from the monoclinic to monoclinic phase and orthogonal phase with the increase of sintered temperature, and the UV-visible light transmittance increased with sintered temperature of WO3 thin film.
