Abstract:
Contactor with eddy repulsion mechanism is designed to break short-circuit current. Model of contactor breaking based on high-speed eddy repulsion mechanism is established with ADAMS and ANSYS. Both transient displacement curves of moving core and moving contact are obtained. Real-time displacement of moving core and moving contact is recorded by high-speed camera. The accuracy of simulation model and physical model are verified by the data that obtained form ADAMS and high-speed camera in this paper. Also, a 50kA short-circuit experiment is performed to validate the characteristics of short-circuit breaking.
